animal tested and approved

While I'm not a big fan of products being tested on animals, I just couldn't resist testing the new hotsling out on Garfunkel. He insists on being held like a baby all the time, so it was easy to get him into it. I'm just glad that the baby won't weigh 15 lbs. when it is born like Garfunkel!!!

Garfunkel loved it so I think it's a winner for baby products!

Happy Easter!

Well, today we enjoyed our last Easter without children. I have to say though that it will probably be more fun when there is someone to hide eggs for:)!!
We went to church in the morning which was packed as usual on Easter morning! And heard a great message!!
We joined our friends Brent and Julie as we traditionally do for Easter. We had delicious ham, pineapple dressing & deviled eggs, of course, at Julie's parents house. We joined Julie's parents, her sister and brother-in-law and their 2 girls, for lunch and "bunny" cupcakes.

Then we traveled to Brent's brother's house for some Easter dessert with his brother, sister-in-law, their 3 boys, his mom & her husband. We had the pleasure of watching all the kids do an egg hunt outside! Then Karl played some H-O-R-S-E with Brennan, Brent's oldest nephew, who beat him! Better luck next time Karl:)

Hope everyone enjoyed a great Easter!! Only 12 days to go until we are officially parents!! Scary thought I know:)

Simon's Good Table Manners

St. Patrick's Day

This picture includes several of our friends from church. Most of whom we've known since before there were children in the picture. It's amazing to see what can happen in 5 years!!

Next year we will have another little leprechaun(ette) to join in the St. Patty's Day Green Madness!!!

Baby's Room is Ready

Karl and Simon are putting the finishing touches on the room in this first picture!
Karl did an amazing job on the room! He is so creative and talented! He did all the painting and hung all the moulding (crown, chair rail and boxes) himself!
Let's hope the baby likes the room, cause I think it will be green and brown for a long time:)!

Now we just have to wait for the baby to get here. We had a doctor's appointment yesterday. Everything is looking good. The heart rate was great (between 116-150, in a 20 minute span). The baby is head down and the baby is moving around ALL the time!! No real contractions yet though so it won't be any time too soon.
